about this Artist

Kolo & Co

A bold fusion of the hypnotic rhythms of rara, electronic energy, and the freedom of jazz.

Kolo, an emerging figure in the Haitian scene, seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. A DJ since 2016 and co-founder of Gwolobo, he ignites crowds with an explosive mix of rara and electro. As a member of Boukman Eksperyans, he has opened for Arcade Fire on their world tour and performed on prestigious stages like the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin and the Barclays Center in New York.

For this edition, Kolo invites Ti Tanbou, a Cap-Haitian tambourine player who keeps traditional rhythms alive, Kéké (Clément Bélizaire) on guitar, Kabysh on vocals (raratek, blues, reggae, traditional music), and Joel Widmaier for that skat jazz touch.

PAPJAZZ It Up: KOLO & CO promises an immersive experience where tradition and innovation merge into a unique and vibrant show.
